Accommodation at the Cradle
Mountain Chateau provides a northern gateway to the Cradle
Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park, Tasmania. Cradle Mountain
Chateau is just two hours drive from Launceston and one hour drive
from Devonport, set in scenic alpine woodland and Tasmanian
wilderness.
At Cradle Mountain Chateau you
will enjoy fine Tasmanian wines and fresh local produce. The
Chateau's elegant Brushtails Bar is an ideal place for a
pre-dinner drink or nightcap. You can also dine in style at The
Grey Gum, the Cradle Mountain Chateau's signature a la carte
restaurant.
All 60 of the beautifully-appointed rooms and suites are under one
roof, split into two wings and have double-sliding doors opening
on to their own small private decks for wildlife viewing and
woodland views. All accommodation is ground-floor level. There are
standard twin rooms with two double beds; king spa rooms, with
king-size beds and bathroom spas; and deluxe split-level suites,
with sunken lounge, king-size beds and bathroom spas.
All rooms feature tea and coffee
making facilities, heating, electric blankets, television and
telephone facilities. 24 hour room service and guest laundry is
also available.
Deluxe Room
Our Deluxe Rooms provide a comfortable base from which to begin
your alpine adventure. Each comes equipped with a queen and single
(king-size) bed and a well appointed shower ensuite. Perfect for
couples and families alike.
Deluxe Spa Room
There is nothing better than relaxing in a hot spa bath after a
rigorous day of hiking through the alpine surrounds of Cradle
Mountain. Our Deluxe Spa Room provides for a luxurious means of
completing your activities. These rooms offer twin double beds
(queen length) and full bathroom with separate shower facilities.
With it's beautiful outlook on the alpine wilderness of the Cradle
