Kangaroo Island Wilderness Retreat Australia
Kangaroo Island is Australia's third largest Island located 16 km
off the coast of South Australia. Brimming with wildlife, Kangaroo
Island offers an intimate experience with the Australian
wilderness; hand feed a Tammar Wallaby, paddle with Sea-lions or
stroke a Koala amid the idyllic backdrop of beaches and bushland.
Nature lovers and walkers alike will regale in this ‘zoo without
walls’ that has been likened to the Galapagos Islands with its
natural charm.
Perfectly situated, the Kangaroo Island Wilderness Retreat is the
only accommodation complex adjacent to the entrance of the
Flinders Chase National Park - the most popular destination on the
Island - discreetly nestled amongst 113 acres of beautiful rustic
scenery.
The retreat works in harmony with its surroundings through a
unique mix of eco-friendly features, exclusive guest facilities,
pristine accommodation and a superb licensed restaurant. The heart
of the retreat is the courtyard where friendly wallabies, possums
and echidnas frolic with guests in the bushland garden.
The ideal positioning of the retreat also means you are only a
stone’s throw away from all the Island's major landmarks and
attractions – a Koala Sanctuary, Grassdale Kangaroos, Admirals
Arch & Seals, Remarkable Rocks and more – all of which can be
experienced through the unmatched walks & tours. Click here now to
take a virtual tour of 4 walks that make up "Kangaroo Island
Coastal Wilderness Walk".
