Catlins Farmstay Bed and
Breakfast is a great location for visiting the many scenic
attractions of the beautiful natural Catlins area. Situated 10
minutes drive from the 160 year old fossil forest at Curio Bay
where dolphins and penguins may also be seen.
Your hosts are genuine kiwis
farming 2800 sheep, 500 deer, and 150 cattle on a 1000 acres with
the help of 3 sheep dogs.

Three guest rooms each with
ensuite.
The Wineberry Suite
A self-contained room with King bed, plus sofa bed, mini kitchen,
writing table, tea making facilities and all necessary toilet
accessories. It has a heated tile floor in the ensuite. This suite
is quiet and restful and you have your own entrance situated
amongst a collection of native and exotic flowers, trees and
shrubs. This room is very suitable for guests requiring total
relaxation.
The Rhodo Room
A queen/twin room with extra single bed, heated tile floor in
ensuite and all toilet necessities. It has a separate entrance to
garden and looks out to a rhododendron dell.
The Odell Room
A queen bed and smaller ensuite overlooking and opening to the
garden with the Catlins forest park beyond. All rooms have phone
and internet connections. Special requests for family
accommodation are catered for.
Breakfast is in the dining room
at a time to suit you, and we offer fresh and home preserved fruit
and various cereals hot or cold, yoghurt, plus my speciality of
fresh morning made muffins or scones and jams. Cooked traditional
fare including bacon and free range local eggs is also offered.
