Mount Tarawera was split apart leaving a rift 17kms long. HELiPRO’s exclusive landing concession for Mount Tarawera  allows access to Rotorua’s most remarkable landmark.

Flying high above Mount Tarawera, you can soak in powerful views of the magnificent craters and domes formed during the largest eruption in New Zealand’s living memory. Stunning Crater Lakes, imposing National Parks and much of Rotorua’s renowned thermal activity also feature in this flight.
