Wilson's guided walks in Abel
Tasman National Park offer freedom and flexibility in this gentle,
paradise where lush native forests give way to golden sands and
azure water. The highest number of sunshine hours in New Zealand
with sea breezes in summer and calm, crisp days in winter makes
walking a pleasure, year-round.
You can explore on your own or with one of our friendly,
knowledgeable Guides who will have many stories to tell of the
fascinating cultural and natural history of Abel Tasman National
Park .
If you choose not to walk with a Guide, you can still take
advantage of their local knowledge to help make the most of each
day depending on the weather and tides. We can provide you with a
comprehensive set of track notes and maps to guide you along the
way.
Overnight trips include:
Expert Guides to design each day to suit you. You
can choose to walk with your Guide, explore on your own, or
relax and catch a boat to your destination.
Accommodation in our exclusive Torrent Bay and
Meadowbank Lodges.
Twin/double rooms with ensuite bathrooms - all
linen and bedding provided.
HOT SHOWERS
No heavy packs to carry. A Lodge Luggage bag is
provided, and transported to the Lodge by boat.
Day packs are available to borrow.
Fine food.
Local beers and wines available to purchase.
2 day / 1 night Guided Walk
We strongly recommend that you join us for a minimum of 2 nights
to maximise your enjoyment of this stunning coast. However, if you
are on a tight schedule, we can design the best overnight
experience to suit you, including everything the Park has to
offer. You can choose to laze on a golden beach, walk, sea kayak
or take a boat cruise. The choice is yours.
Join a section of our 3 day Guided walk and stay one night at
either of our beach front lodges. Walking or relax on the second
day before returning to Kaiteriteri by water taxi - see 3 day
detailed itinerary link below for details.
3 day / 2 night Guided Walk
Walk the length of the Abel Tasman Coast Track from Marahau to
Totaranui. Stay one night at each of our Beachfront Lodges:
Torrent Bay Lodge and Meadowbank Homestead - Awaroa.
5 Day / 4 night Guided Walk
The most relaxing or adventurous holiday. It's your choice. Walk
the length of the Abel Tasman Coast Track from Marahau to
Totaranui, staying 2 nights at each of our Beachfront Lodges:
Torrent Bay Lodge and Meadowbank Homestead - Awaroa. With an extra
day at each Lodge you can choose to relax, try some sheltered
water canoeing/kayaking or explore areas of the National Park many
visitors don't get to see.
