Most tours have no minimum number requirement. All tours include central city door to door service, airport drop off at small extra charge, flexible schedules and advice on duty limits and shipping wine overseas.

Tour Selection

To help you select your tour here is a brief explanation of the differences between the two main regions we visit, Auckland's West Coast and the East Coasts Matakana.

It important to note that our West Coast tours are personally customised to our guest’s tastes and interests, we select the wineries we visit to suit our guest’s interests.

Volcanoes & Vines morning or full day tours.

Volcanoes & Vines Morning tour

Visiting Villa Maria Winery for winery tour, tastings & platter lunch.

On the way we stop to take in the spectacular 3600 views from the top of one of Auckland's landmark volcanoes 'Maungakiekie', site of a Maori 'Pa' (fortified settlement) also once known as 'One-Tree-Hill'. Now a dormant volcanic cone in the centre of the beautiful, farm-like, Cornwall Park with panoramic views over the city, the Waitemata & Manukau harbours & Hauraki Gulf...

Villa Maria are (currently) New Zealand's largest privately owned and most awarded wine company! Their architecturally award winning Auckland estate is located in the 'Ihumatao' volcanic basin just South of the city.

Customers have the option of returning to their city accommodation or continuing on and joining with the afternoon part of our 'West Coast' tour visiting a mix of three large & small wineries set in the rural countryside North West of the city...

West Coast Half-Day Tour - morning or afternoon.

Morning tour, 9.45am to approx’ 1.15pm, visits 2 wineries and includes spectacular Tasman Sea sightseeing at Takapu Gannet Colony overlooking Muriwai black sand surf beach.

“Waterfalls & Wines”, Day Tour

9.30am to approx’ 5pm, includes open menu, main course, lunch at an excellent vineyard restaurant and a total of 4 wineries.

A great day combining fantastic wild isolation, beauty and sightseeing plus wine tasting!

Spend the morning experiencing Auckland’s sub-tropical rainforest with waterfalls and Kare Kare’s black iron-sand beach plus 360 degree coast to coast Pacific Ocean to Tasman Sea views.

A delicious winery restaurant lunch with wine tasting followed by an afternoon of wine tasting at a further 3 top North West Auckland vineyard/wineries personally customised to your tastes and interests.

East Coast Tour.

9.30am to approx’ 5pm, includes open menu, main course, lunch at ‘Plume’ the new Heron’s Flight & Runner Duck Estate vineyard restaurant.

Approx’ 50 minutes North East of Auckland on the Pacific East coast, over the harbour bridge, through farming communities and small seaside towns with spectacular Pacific views on the way.

Visit 4 boutique vineyard/wineries for tastings in Matakana Wine Country.
This tour also includes 4 optional side trips.

Guests select 4 from; Puhoi Cheese (cheese tasting included), NZ Honey Centre (honey tasting included), "Chocolatebrown" chocolaterie (chocolate samples inc'), visit to Morris & James tileworks/pottery & giant ancient Kauri trees.

Coast to Coast “Best of Both Worlds” Day Tour.

9.30am to approx’ 5pm, includes open menu, main course, lunch at ‘Plume’ the new Heron’s Flight vineyard restaurant.

Perfect if you can’t decide between West Coast or East Coast tours, combine them with this “Best of Both Worlds” tour!

Spend the morning visiting 2 North West Auckland wineries plus spectacular West Coast, Tasman Sea, sightseeing at Takapu Gannet Colony overlooking Muriwai black sand surf beach.

Enjoy a pleasant drive through our lush rolling green farmland from the West to East Coast followed by an open menu, main course, lunch and wine tasting at ‘Plume’ the new Heron’s Flight vineyard restaurant in Matakana on the Pacific Coast.
