Bay of Islands Lodge is a
two-level, cedar-clad guest lodge located five minutes drive from
Paihia, surrounded by native bush and overlooking the Veronica
Channel between Paihia and historic Russell.
Every major room enjoys
uninterrupted views of the bay as far as Moturoa Island, Black
Rocks, and beyond.
Bay of Islands Lodge has been custom-designed to showcase its
stunning surroundings and provide exclusive luxury accommodation for
up to eight guests. The lodge offers four spacious guest bedrooms
(each with ensuite bathroom, walk-in wardrobe, and large balcony).
To provide a luxurious and relaxing environment from which to enjoy
those therapeutic sea views, the lodge also features a central
wood-burning fireplace, rich dark-brown leather sofas, and four
spacious guest bedrooms. There is also a guest library, guest
laundry, and games.
Bay of Islands Lodge offers four spacious guest bedrooms
for up to eight guests (each with ensuite bathroom, walk-in
wardrobe, and large balcony). Separating the bedrooms on the lower
floor is an 'infinity' swimming pool and surrounding deck.
Additional facilities include high-speed Internet access, satellite
(Sky) TV, DVD, and stereo in each bedroom.
The enjoyment of food, wine and company are an integral part of the
Bay of Islands Lodge experience. The cuisine could perhaps best be
described as 'contemporary New Zealand', with some of the
ingredients and inspiration drawn from European and Asian cuisines,
highlighting the intense flavours of only the very best and freshest
local produce.
Whilst in the Bay of Islands enjoy
scenic cruises around the attractive waterways taking in highlights
such as The Hole in the Rock. Swim with Dolphins and sea kayaking
are also available. Further afield visit places of historic and
scenic significance including the Treaty House at Waitangi, the
Stone Store at Kerkeri, Ninety Mile Beach and Cape Reinga -New
