Entertaining and informative commentary and tastings will familiarise you, not only with the wine and produce of the Waimea and/or the Moutere Hills but also take you on a journey through the scenic splendor of Nelson's wine region.

Choose from our half day Explore the Plains tour or Twin Regions tour or our exclusive full day Gourmet Wine Tour.

Explore the Plains - Half Day Tour

Taste wine from four vineyards on the Waimea Plains. There is a superb lunch stop on every tour where you can use your $5 discount voucher. Stafford Lane (Oct to April) where you will sample their range of wines with a central platter of bread for dipping into locally grown and produced olive oil, olives, dukkahs and chutneys. And between April to Oct with a central cheese platter at the first stop. If beer is your passion, we will visit a brewery on request when booking. We will give you an informative but fun afternoon.

  • includes all wine tasting and a $5 discount voucher which can be used towards your purchase of lunch at a vineyard garden restaurant or off a bottle of wine.

  • 12.30pm returning approximately 5.30-6.00pm (winter hours may vary) five hour tour

  • four vineyards or three vineyards and a brewery (depends on first booking of the day)

Twin Regions - Half Day Tour

This extended version of the "explore the plains" tour adds in the unique rich backcountry of the Moutere Hills wine region. Visit the oldest vineyard in the South Island. Chat to the owners and winemakers at the cellar door. Absorb the mountainous backdrop of the Kahurangi National Park. This afternoon will tempt the most discerning wine lover.

  • includes all wine tasting and a $5 discount voucher which can be used towards your purchase of lunch at a vineyard garden restaurant or off a bottle of wine.

  • 11am until 6pm or by arrangement (winter hours may vary) six+ hour tour

  • five vineyards

Gourmet Wine Tour -Full Day Tour

This truly exclusive tour of the Nelson Wine Region is extra special.

We will visit wineries both on the plains and the hills where you can meet the owners & winemakers. Sampling wine from the ten classic grapes grown in New Zealand. Travelling over 100kms and taking in our pristine scenery. A memorable day – this tour is both fun and informative fully guided includes a superb lunch and all wine tastings.

Half Day Art Tour

Immerse yourself in the world-class creative centre that is Nelson. Visit top studio potters and the famed Bead Gallery, touch luxurious soft knits, visit a glass gallery, and choose irresistible gifts. We will take you to view original and ingenious art works that will stimulate your imagination and offer the chance to enrich your collection.
