The Suites:
Kempthorne Suite
Offers a romantic bedroom with queen bed, wardrobe,
mahogany chest and easy chairs. There is also an additional
sitting room with writing desk and single bed. The private
bathroom is accessed independently from each room. The Kempthorne
suite offers Christchurch accommodation suitable for a group of up
to three.
Goddard Suite
A large sunny room with French doors opening to its own balcony.
There is a queen bed with oak headboard, French antique armoire,
writing table, chaise and easy chair. The bathroom has a slate
lined shower.
Cartwright Suite
A large elegant room overlooking the garden, it has a king / twin
bed and Victorian grandmother and grandfather chairs. The bathroom
is extensive, tiled, with walk in shower and original claw footed
bath.
Kowhai Suite
Set on the ground floor, the suite extends to over 800sq ft and is
architecturally interesting. Double doors in the lounge/dining
area lead out into the garden. A laundry and kitchen with all
modern facilities make this suite ideal for longer stays. There
are two bedrooms, one with a king/twin bed; the other situated in
a loft configuration has a queen bed. The Italian slate bathroom
has a walk in shower. The Kowhai suite is suitable for two couples
or a family seeking accommodation in Christchurch.
