Kokonga Lodge is located just a
few minutes' drive from New Zealand's only rural Art Deco town of
Ranfurly. In the Central Otago area known as 'The Maniototo'.
The Central Otago region
provides both summer and winter activities; biking and walking on
the rail trail, fishing and gold panning in summer and winter
heralds curling and ice skating. For those wanting 'stay-put'
accommodation Kokonga Lodge offers a selection of self guided
activities plus mountain bikes, gold pans and fishing gear.
The hosted accommodation at
Kokonga Lodge is fully catered offering full breakfast, a 3 course
dinner and packed lunches on request for guests heading off on a
day of activities. The six individually themed rooms at Kokonga
Lodge have ensuites and one room has wheelchair access.
Kokonga Lodge welcomes bikers and walkers, and anyone wishing to
relax and explore a distinctive, unspoiled area of New Zealand
rich in history and tradition.
