overlooking beautiful Lake Taupo and the mountains. Award winning

Wright.
Lake Taupo Lodge prides itself
in the care and attention put into each guests stay. From the
moment you arrive you can relax and let us look after you in style
and comfort. Sink into the soft furnishings in the library in
front of the fire, or make your way to the bar where you will find
a full sized billiard table. Outdoors you can recline on a
sun lounger in the seclusion of the gardens where native birds
abound or if feeling a little more active take a short stroll
through the garden to the tennis court.
All office functions are
available with high speed internet access on the guest computer.
After a rewarding day exploring
the region you can enjoy a therapeutic massage then come through
to the lodge for pre dinner drinks before a fabulous 4 course meal
cooked by our 5 star chefs.
The seven guest suites are
luxurious examples of world class accommodation. All are en-suite,
are superbly appointed, each with their own balcony or terrace and
stunning lake and garden views.
THE SUITES
All our suites have private outdoor patio areas with table and
chairs where one can listen to the birds and soak up nature's
beauty and the magnificent lake and topiary garden views.
Three of the executive suites
"Frank" "Lloyd" and "Wright" have been inspired by the same Frank
Lloyd Wright architectural design (hence the original
names!).There is also:
Lake Suite with magnificent lake views and spa bath.
Pines Suite looking out to the mountains, lake and garden.
Cherrywood suite featuring a large cherry tree in the private
outdoor patio with separate lounge room.
Garden Suite is the deluxe suite
(which is slightly smaller) looking out to the garden and lake.
All the executive suites have a
King sized bed or two single beds, telephone, writing table and
chairs, fridge, mini bar, tea and coffee facilities, alarm clock,
iron and ironing board.
The ensuite bathrooms have under
floor heating, luxurious bathrobes, toiletries and hairdryer. Four
of the executive suites have large baths as well as walk in
showers. The others have large walk in showers.
Fresh flowers, seasonal fruit,
milk and homemade cookies are in the room every day along with a
selection of teas and coffee.
