The 5 top reasons why parents with children and teens enjoy the lodge

  • Large rambling gardens complete with a swing where children can let off steam while mum relaxes with a glass of wine

  • A delicious children's tea served early evening, leaving parents free to enjoy the evening dinner and without having to go in search of a restaurant to suit different tastes and meal times

  • Lots of facilities – tennis court, swimming pool, croquet, pentanque plus a pool table for dad to show off his skill – or maybe be beaten by the younger family members

  • Children friendly staff helping the children toast marshmallows on the outside fireplace, or finding the birds around the garden featured in our lodge bird quiz

  • Every family is different and so are our rooms, enabling us to tailor accommodation options to individual families:

Separate wings in the lodge means we can offer a family exclusive use of one wing (three rooms)
The garden suite has a separate bedroom and sitting room which can take a single bed for a child
Or adjacent suites provide a king room alongside a twin bedded room.
