The Abel Tasman National Park
coastline offers some of the best sailing in New Zealand. Almost
daily through summer the sea breeze fills in from the North mid
morning and gradually builds through the afternoon. Peaceful
relaxing sailing early in the day is the ideal time to cruise
North exploring the native bush clad coastline and golden beaches.
The afternoon offers the thrill and excitement of fast sailing, a
great opportunity to ride the waves back down the coast. Shelter
and calm water can still be found in most bays when the breeze is
up, offering a great balance for cruising sailors.
Yachts are modern, safe and very
well equipped. Skippers are MSA qualified, with years of local
knowledge and experience sailing the Abel Tasman coastline. So
hear the history of the National Park, learn how to sail, or just
sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery.

ANCHORAGE SAIL & WALK
(2.5hr sail & 4hr walk) Departs Kaiteriteri
Chill out and relax with a peaceful, calm sail amongst the best
coastal scenery of the National Park. You are going to love the
golden beaches, rugged natural coastline and pristine clear waters
of the Abel Tasman! Around midday abandon ship at Anchorage for a
stunning nature walk back to Marahau. Stroll along sandy beaches
via picture perfect lookouts and through some of the best native
bush and scenery the coastal track has to offer. This is a 4 hour
freedom walk at a casual pace. Free Marahau Shuttle included.
