The scenic yet challenging links style layout of the course in a tree lined parklands setting, is excellent for the golf beginner whilst offering many challenges to the lower handicapper. No steep hills to climb but numerous obstacles to navigate around, well placed bunkers plus plenty of challenging lies will test and titillate the average golfer. Being free draining the course is very seldom closed due to bad weather so come and visit us . We hope to see you soon.

Nelson Golf Club's 18 hole championship course is adjacent to the district's airport and the picturesque waters of Tasman Bay.

It is only ten minutes travelling time from the centre of downtown Nelson and virtually next door to beautiful Tahunanui Beach.

Eighteen holes. Men's blue tees 6197 metres, Men's white tees 6042 metres. Women's yellow tees 5414 metres. Four par threes, four par fives (women five) and ten par fours (women nine). Large practice areas including driving nets.

If you are visiting this beautiful part of the South Island, we encourage you to ‘stop off’ en route to the Kahuranghi National Park or the majestic Abel Tasman National Park and immerse yourself in our magnificent golf course. The installation of an automatic watering system means that however many glorious sunshine hours we get, the fairways and greens aren’t compromised. Our green keepers  work hard to ensure that the course stays in excellent condition.

The course is suitable for all ages and abilities. Whilst it is a flat , easy walking course characterized by its lush, tree lined fairways, sea views, beautiful vistas and glorious greens, the course layout with its narrow fairways makes it both challenging and interesting, even for the most professional of golfers.

Motueka Golf Club was established in 1920. It is a friendly, welcoming club with a core membership of 400. The club takes on an extra vibrancy over the summer months when we see a huge increase in visitors. We set up a ‘buddy’ system for new members to give them an opportunity to meet new people and feel part of the club.

We have a resident coach who runs a fully equipped golf shop and coaching at all levels. The course is located on Harbour Rd, two minutes from the town centre.

The Kina Cliffs golf course is a challenging course set on undulating terrain with spectacular views over Tasman Bay. Kina Cliffs is an essential part of your Nelson golf experience

Few golf courses enjoy a more distinctive character than Tasman with its three main valleys, its spread over gentle slopes & steeper knobs, and its overall inclination towards the sun.

The clubhouse commands a superb outlook over Tasman Bay, while almost every fairway & tee has its own special view.

Even the irrigation dam brings the bonus of reflections in its waters. Majestic pines surviving from earlier forestation present both beauty & golfing hazard. An assortment of planted ornamentals & natives give promise of further attractiveness. All these features combine to give visitors a thoroughly enjoyable game that shrewdly tests their skill.

Green fee players are welcome any day except Saturday afternoon (club competition day). Even then visitors are welcome to play in the competition.

The Totaradale Golf Club is situated 25km south of Nelson on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Wakefield. Approximately 1km along Pigeon Valley Road, this tranquil 9-hole golf course is nestled amongst both native and exotic trees and boasts an abundance of New Zealand bird-life.

This unassuming golf club extends a warm welcome to members and visitors alike and strives to cater for every golfer irrespective of their playing age or ability.

The challenging Par-72 course has well maintained greens and fairways and is proud of its reputation of being one of the best 9-hole courses in the South Island.
