New Zealand is the perfect country to visit for a golf touring holiday or the occasional game of golf as part of a more general New Zealand holiday. It has been said that anywhere in New Zealand there are more than 10 people you will find a golf course, a slight exaggeration perhaps although New Zealand does have a least a 9 hole course in most villages and most towns boast more than one 18 hole course.

Then there are the superb world class New Zealand golf courses where you can stay and play or visit for a round, in the far north there is Carrington Golf Course, a little further south in the Bay of Islands is Kauri Cliffs Golf Course, in Hawkes Bay just south of Napier is Cape Kidnappers Golf Course. The New Zealand major golf courses on the South Island are Clearwater Golf Course in Christchurch, Terrace Downs Golf Course within two hours drive south of Christchurch and Millbrook Golf Course Queenstown in a stunning mountain setting.
