We recommend the 'All Inclusive' Maui Premium Package. It reduces your excess to NIL as both the Excess Reduction 2 (nil excess) and the No Worries Cover are included.

Standard Excess (Included in vehicle charges)

The daily rental rate includes standard protection, where you leave a AU$7,500 bond. This bond is debited from your credit card when the vehicle is collected and held as your excess.

For this reason it is important that your credit card has sufficient funds available so as not to exceed your withdrawal allowance.

This amount can be reduced by purchasing the following:

Excess Reduction 1

2WD - AU$22 per day (maximum charge of AU$1100)
4WD – AU$27 per day (maximum charge of AU$1350)

The excess is reduced to AU$2,500, which is held as your security deposit. This amount will be debited to your card on collection of your vehicle.

Excess Reduction Option 2

2WD - AU$40 per day (maximum charge of AU$2000)
4WD – AU$49 per day (maximum charge of AU$2450)

The excess is reduced to NIL for 2WD and to AU$440 for 4WD. A security deposit of AU$220 (2WD) and AU$440 (4WD), is taken to ensure the vehicle is returned clean with an empty toilet and full of fuel. The security deposit is taken as an imprint of your credit card.

Excess Reduction Option 2 is included in the 'All Inclusive' Maui Premium Package.

No Worries Cover (PC02):

In addition to Excess Reduction Option 2, this one-off payment of AU$50 per hire for 2WD and AU$150 for 4WD covers you for accidental damage to the overhead and underbody sections of the Motorhome or 4WD Campervan Please note overhead and underbody damage cover is excluded unless the No Worries Cover option has been purchased.

No Worries Cover Option is included in the 'All Inclusive' Maui Premium Package.

All debited bonds (plus any other credit card transactions) are subject to a 2% credit card surcharge for Visa and MasterCard and 4.5% for American Express in addition to the bond amount. This surcharge is refunded when the bond is refunded for Visa and MasterCard holders For American Express the 4.5% is not refunded when the bond is refunded.

Don’t forget to check that your credit card has the funds available and that the amount does not exceed your daily withdrawal allowance.
