The Elizabeth Room in the main Lodge building and was originally the
maid's room.
The Victoria Room
The Victoria Room in the main Lodge building
is characterised by its antique oak furnishings. This room, which
overlooks the Oamaru stone terrace and gardens, basks in the afternoon
sun.
Three following rooms are
located in the Oamaru stone Annex on the first floor. This Building was
constructed at the same time as Pen-y-bryn but was extensively redesigned
and refurbished in 1995. The Park
The Park is a dedicated twin room with two
king-single beds and overlooks the extensive potager garden within the
lodge grounds with Awamoa Park in the background. A rollaway bed is
available if required for a third person. The Garden Room
The Garden room, as its name implies,
overlooks the garden at the rear of the property. Of interest is the
original garden trelliswork, which now extends through the neighbouring
property. The Nest
The Nest, is a queen room with gorgeous sleigh
bed. It not only faces the sea but also a large elm tree planted in the
late 1800's. This room is popular with Honeymooners |
