The summer season has just finished and everyone is now back
home, here is what Kathy & Bob Sanborn our last clients for the
season had to say about their holiday in New Zealand and
Australia.

I
cannot begin to tell you what an extraordinary adventure Bob & I
had on our trip To New Zealand & Australia. We kept thinking each
day that it could not get any better, but it did. Auckland was
beautiful & we enjoyed exploring the city. Te Anau was just
beautiful & our accommodations were lovely. The hosts were very
helpful. We had a sunny day on our cruise on the Milford Sound;
the sights were magnificent on the cruise & the drive to & fro
were breathtaking. Queenstown was great, so alive. The B&B
(Brown’s) was great & we met many interesting people. Again the
hosts were very friendly & helpful. The Walters Peak Cruise &
Buffet dinner was a lot of fun. Fox Glacier was unbelievable.
Again we had a beautiful sunny day which they said was not the
norm. I highly recommend the helihike. The 3 hours flew by & we
were in awe. Our Marlborough Sound kayak adventure was wonderful &
quite an accomplishment. We paddled from 8:15 AM until 3:15 PM
when we arrived at Lochmara Lodge. The Lodge is an adventure in
itself & we kept discovering new things to see & admire at every
turn. Christchurch was lovely & Jon & Shirley were just wonderful.
Jon suggested Hays Restaurant & even drove us there in his Porsche
SUV! I actually cried when we left NZ. We may just have to return
& see the rest of your beautiful country.
Australia was wonderful, too. We loved Melbourne, our favorite
city in Australia, & walked everywhere. Being there on the weekend
was especially nice as we got to go to the markets. Our Great
Ocean Road guided day trip was a definite highlight. Rosemary, our
guide was just wonderful & went out of her way to find 2 golf
courses for Bob! Her background is botany so we learned much about
the flora & fauna. Teachers love to learn! The tramcar dinner was
fun & the food quite good. The service was excellent. I am so
grateful that we had the opportunity to overnight on the Great
Barrier Reef. Thank you so much for that, Russell. I was obviously
apprehensive & therefore did not choose it originally, but it
turned out to be just wonderful, we will remember it always. We
met some wonderful people as a result. The landing in Sydney was
the most exciting for me. Seeing the Opera house & bridge from the
air was a dream come true. We loved staying in The Rocks & loved
the city. We took a trip out to Bondi Beach & did the walk to
Coogee – so very beautiful. The backstage opera House tour was a
highlight as well. The guide was very personable, informative &
funny. We would highly recommend it. In all Russell, we loved
every minute of our trip. We were not ready to come home! I guess
you could say we loved it all!!!
We
will recommend you to all who ask us how we arranged this
wonderful trip & have 2 couples already who say this trip is in
their future. It was our best trip ever. Thank you from both of
us.
