of cellar doors to visit and vineyard restaurants where
you can match the delightful wines with a sumptuous lunch

Day 6 - Clare Valley to Flinders Ranges
A day of contrasts as you travel from
the prolific vineyards of the Clare to the near barren outpost
town of Hawker and then on to Wilpena Pound. The pound is

destinations for day trips. Wildlife is abundant and you can
be sure of some close encounters.
Day 7 - Full day Flinders Ranges

see Wilpena Pound, Arkaba Station, Elder Range, Edeowie
Gorge, Heysen Range, Lake Torrens, Bunyeroo Gorge, Brachina
Gorge, The Backbone of the Flinders, St Mary’s Peak and
the Pound Gap. Then off to explore a broad range of
walking trails cater to most levels of fitness. From the
relatively flat 'walk across the pound' to the challenging
track up Mt Olsen Bagge. Learn about the fascinating
history of the pound with a visit to the Wilpena Station
where you can stroll around the preserved historic station
Day 8 - Full day Flinders Ranges
Take a "Corridors through time"
four wheel drive tour to the Flinders Ranges more remote

Aroona Valley, see views that have inspired artists such
as Sir Hans Heysen and observe the wildlife in their natural
habitat. Catch a glimpse of the rare yellow-footed rock wallaby.
